Designed as one of the flagship dining destinations at Expo 2020 Dubai, Jubilee Gastronomy brought together internationally acclaimed chefs, exceptional cuisine and immersive hospitality under one roof. Overlooking the iconic Al Wasl Plaza, the venue offered a unique culinary experience that celebrated global gastronomy throughout the six-month event.
TGP International was appointed to conceptualise, design and curate the destination, delivering an experience that combined outstanding food, distinctive design and world-class culinary talent.
The ambition was to create a landmark dining destination worthy of one of the world's largest international events. The concept needed to showcase culinary excellence while attracting visitors from around the globe, offering an experience that extended beyond traditional restaurant dining.
Alongside the main restaurant, the client sought to introduce a complementary rooftop destination that would maximise the venue's location overlooking the Al Wasl Dome and create an additional social experience for guests.
The concept centred on positioning Jubilee Gastronomy as a celebration of global culinary talent, creating a destination where food, atmosphere and storytelling came together.
TGP developed two complementary concepts: Jubilee Gastronomy, an elegant restaurant featuring a sophisticated dining room and lounge, and Jubilee Mixology, a rooftop bar offering panoramic views across Expo 2020 Dubai. The design balanced contemporary hospitality with the energy of the international event, ensuring the spaces could accommodate both destination dining and vibrant social occasions.
Beyond the physical environment, TGP curated an exceptional six-month culinary programme, bringing together more than 40 Michelin-starred chefs from around the world. Exclusive tasting menus and chef collaborations created a constantly evolving guest experience, encouraging repeat visits throughout the Expo.
