A bold celebration of modern Bangkok, Long Chim London was conceived as an immersive dining experience that captures the energy and theatre of Thailand’s street food culture.
TGP International partnered with the globally recognised Long Chim brand to deliver a vibrant interior design concept for its London flagship, while also providing brand representation support during its expansion to the UAE during Expo Dubai 2020.

Appointed to design the London flagship for Long Chim, TGP International developed a distinctive interior approach that translated the spirit of Bangkok’s street markets into a contemporary urban restaurant setting. The brief called for a space that felt authentic yet elevated, energetic yet refined, and capable of delivering a strong visual identity within a competitive London dining scene.
In parallel, TGP supported the brand through representation in the UAE, helping to strengthen its presence in Dubai and align opportunities during the major Expo 2020 Dubai event. Our role extended beyond design, assisting in positioning the brand within the regional market and supporting interior direction to ensure consistency of identity and experience.

Founded by celebrated Australian chef David Thompson, Long Chim has established an international reputation with locations in London, Dubai and Australia. The concept is rooted in authentic Thai street food, reinterpreted with contemporary flair and high-quality produce.
The London flagship was inspired by the hustle and bustle of Bangkok’s markets, layered, expressive and rich in detail. TGP translated this narrative into a design language that reflects modern Bangkok through textured materials, bold colour accents, graphic elements and a theatrical open kitchen that brings energy and movement into the heart of the space.
The result is an environment that feels immersive and memorable, balancing raw urban character with refined finishes and carefully considered detailing.
TGP provided comprehensive interior design services, developing the spatial planning, design concept, material palette and narrative direction for the London restaurant. The design carefully integrated storytelling elements, lighting, finishes and kitchen theatre to create a cohesive and experiential environment.
Alongside interior design, TGP acted in a brand representation capacity, supporting Long Chim’s expansion strategy in Dubai and providing advisory input during its engagement with Expo City Dubai during the major world expo event This ensured that the brand’s identity remained consistent across markets while strengthening its regional visibility and positioning.
